BOOKING CONDITIONS

Please read the following booking conditions carefully, and please contact us
if you have any questions regarding any points mentioned below.

Tour prices – Deposits & final payments:
Tour prices are valid for travel between the 25th October, 2003 and 24th October,
2004. All prices are current as at
October 25th, 2002. Tour prices, taxes, levies,
charges and tariffs will remain fixed at these prices once your tour deposit has
been received by Travelscene St Kilda.

A deposit of US$150.00 per person is required within 7 days of confirmation
of your tour. The balance is due 60 (sixty) days prior to the commencement
date of your tour. Failure to pay either the deposit or balance on time may lead
to the cancellation of your reservation & / or refusal to carry you on your chosen
tour. For bookings made inside 60 days, full payment is required at the time of
confirmation.

Amendments to your booking:
Should you need to amend your booking with us, you will be required to pay an amendment fee of US$25.00 for each amendment made by you. Please advise any amendments in writing to us, by either fax or e-mail.

Cancellations:
If you have to cancel your tour, for whatever reason, we require you to advise us in writing, by fax or e-mail, of your request to cancel. For cancellations prior to the balance tour price being paid, a full refund of your deposit, less US $50 per person administration fee of US$50, will be reimbursed to you.
The following tour price fees apply for cancellations prior to tour departure:
60 to 45 days prior 25% or loss of deposit, whichever is greater.
44 to 35 days prior 50%
34 to 20 days prior 75%
19 to 1 days prior 100%

Should you be unable to commence or continue your tour due to illness, you should obtain a doctors certificate for assistance with your travel insurance claim.
Neither Travelscene St Kilda nor Egypt Plus take responsibility for any cancellation of services or change to hotels, cruise boats, flights or itineraries beyond our control. Prior to departure, we shall offer alternatives of a similar standard, and you will have 7 days in which to accept this offer. If you choose not to accept our alternatives, we shall refund your monies in full, and then be under no further liabilities.

Late booking fee:
A late booking fee of US $ 25.00 per person will be levied on all bookings made within 14 days of your tour departure date.

Passports & visas:
You must have a valid passport with at least six months validity after your return to your country of residence. Visas are compulsory for most travellers to
Egypt. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have correct passports and visas to enter, and travel in, Egypt.

Vaccinations:
We recommend that you check with your medical advisor or local health department regarding medication and vaccinations required for travel to
Egypt.

SPECIAL NOTE:
Please note that the Esna lock is closed between 01 – 30 June and 01 – 16 December, 2003. On tours spanning these dates, alternative arrangements will be made to transfer you between
Luxor and Esna.
